Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Amanda was a former strength and conditioning coach who designs ergonomic carry equipment for motorcycle riders through her small business Flying Solo Gear Co.
Starting a small business in a male dominated industry had its hardships at first, but she started to attract respectful and kind customers who fully support her endeavours and have made many friendships through the business.
Amanda completed a 40-day, 18,000km solo journey around Australia on a 2007 Suzuki GSX-R600 as a way to not only test early prototypes of a new product, but to also challenge herself so that she can back her brand and mantra 100%.
Through Flying Solo Gear Co., Amanda wants to inspire other riders to #BeBrave – know what you’re afraid of, and do it anyway.
