WRWR Position: Vice President, Americas Team

How long have you been riding?

6 years, but I’ve been a pillion since I was a child.

What do you ride?

2015 KTM Duke 390. I love him. He is mine. We are best friends. (Shhh, don’t tell the hubs.)

Why do you ride?

“To those who don’t ride, no explanation will do. To those who do ride, no explanation is necessary.”

What is your greatest achievement on two wheels?

Getting back on the bike after a life-altering knee injury, subsequent surgery, and a year of rehab.

Do you have a biking idol?

Anybody that’s been too afraid to try, but shut out fear and learned to ride anyway.

Do you work on your own bikes?

Yep, for some of the basics like chain maintenance, oil changes, simple mods. I leave the more in-depth stuff to the professionals.

What’s your dream bike?

BMW GS. Any displacement. I don’t care. I love this bike and always will. And one day it will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine.

Where would you most like to ride in the world?

The Dakkar. One can dream.

BEHIND THE VISOR:

Where are you from?

The Great White North.

What do you do for work?

I am a Complementary Healthcare Therapist.

How old are you?

Old enough.

Do you have a family of your own?

Yep, just not in the “traditional” sense. It’s me, my hubs, our bikes and our cats.

Would you teach your kids to ride?

I have some friends that take their cats on their bikes. I’d love to train our cats to do it, but the truth is, they scaredy cats.

What do you enjoy doing aside from biking?

I love to do lots of things – travelling, listening to music, reading, enjoying new foods, meditating. Mostly I just love chilling out with my family and good friends.

What one word best describes you?

Right now, at this very moment – hungry ?

Do you have a biker name – if not what would it be?

Not yet, but I’m working on it.

What superpowers do you have and what would you have if you could choose?

I have a great ability to calm people and situations. But I’d love to be able to teleport, like Penny from The Magicians.

Who got you into riding?

Four older brothers, my dad, by grandparents, my hubs, some excellent instructors, me…..it’s hard to single out one person that got me into it. But the community certainly keeps me in it. It’s a family like no other.

Why did you join WRWR?

Honestly, I have no idea. It just kinda happened. I think the cincher was a bonding over music with Hayley.
