Originally from Ireland and now living in Noosa, Queensland, Australia.

I’m an air traffic controller in Brisbane airport. I’ve been doing this job for 15 years in both Ireland and Australia.

I got my first bike in 1997 and eventually turned to the track in 2007. I bought a dedicated race bike and started racing in 2008. I had one major crash which put me out for a year or so, but didn’t put me off. I was the first female from the Republic of Ireland to be granted a road race licence and competed in a few road races before emigrating.

My dream is to be a track instructor in my own race academy some day. And also to return home to compete in the worlds fastest road race, the Ulster Grand Prix. I ride because bikes make my heart beat. I can’t be without my bikes. I currently have a Ducati Panigale 959 Road bike and a Triumph Daytona 675r race bike.

Any girl who wants to try any discipline of bike riding – just do it! It’s a huge community and it’s only
growing.
